IT Vacancies

IT System Administrator

Location: Sunbury

We are looking for a system administrator to join a small IT team to support the company’s in house IT and communications infrastructure.  As part of the IT team you will be expected to carry out various tasks ranging from a simple password change to the maintenance and upkeep of our critical systems.

Job Requirements

·         Provide 1st-3rd line support to staff

·         Support the company’s mobile phone fleet

·         Support the company’s computers including desktops, laptops and tablet computers

·         Support internal infrastructure servers and services

·         Basic operation of Cisco switching infrastructure

·         Willing to champion and develop new and existing systems such as backup

·         Occasional travel to branch offices where necessary, there are 7 located nationwide

Technical Requirements

·         Experience maintaining Windows Server 2003-2008 R2

·         Good knowledge of Microsoft directory services in a multi-site configuration

·         Experience with Microsoft Exchange

·         Experience of virtualisation technologies, Hyper-V would be an advantage.

·         Experience with Group Policy

·         Experience with Print Management

·         Ability to diagnose and repair various hardware problems with laptops/desktops/servers, somebody with a CompTIA A+ certification would be ideal

·         Understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts and use.  Somebody with a CompTIA Network+ or CCENT/CCNA certification would be ideal

·         Microsoft System Centre experience would be a bonus

·         Windows 7/Microsoft Office 2010 experience

Operations Vacancies

Our Operations team co-ordinate and project manage the Audio Visual element of our contracts. The team consists of CAD, System Designers, Installation Engineers, Project Managers and Project Engineers all working together to ensure the Clients needs and business requirements are met efficiently. Field Service Engineer

Overview

 

We are a leading systems integration specialist looking for new service engineers.

Our engineers provide support to Corporate Clients based across the country for audio visual system.

We undertake site visits for service calls and provide preventative maintenance support to Clients as required.

Our clients include high profile companies, major corporate clients and educational institutions.

 

 

 

Role and Responsibilities    

  • - Provide preventative maintenance support to Clients as required
  • - Reactive servicing of audio and visual systems
  • - Testing and configuring of  Video conferencing systems
  • - Servicing and programming of Custom control systems
  • - Completing paperwork for each job attended within a short timeframe
  • - Liasing with Clients and the helpdesk on a daily basis

Skills required:

  • - Previous AV experience
  • - Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • - Enthusiastic and organised
  • - Ability to work under pressure
  • - A good understanding of audio systems
  • - Understanding of control systems would be beneficial

Service Vacancies

AVM Impact has one of the biggest dedicated Service Departments in the industry by both staff numbers and revenue. It consists of field engineers, onsite technicians at our managed services sites, as well as our support and helpdesk teams.The Service Division supports all brands of presentation product including preventative maintenance, emergency call-outs, loan equipment, 24 hour emergency support and onsite support from our outsourced facilities management service. We also offer dedicated operational support on client premises with managed services including VC call set up and management, additional support during busy periods, helpdesk support, service and maintenance and remote systems monitoring.

Sales Vacancies

AVM Impact's sales teams are based nationwide, covering all areas of the UK. They comprise of professionals with specialist experience and knowledge in different sectors and product areas. This ensures a good breadth of technological knowledge to serve all of our customers. The Sales teams encompass the corporate division, selling directly to the Private and Public sectors and the education division selling into Schools, Colleges and Universities.

Business Development

Partner Business Coordinator

Overview   

 

The successful candidate will be based from our head office in Sunbury but will be required to travel to the city. The Partner Business Coordinator will provide support to the Partner Business Development team.  

 

Location: Sunbury

The role:           

 

·         Working closely with and providing support to the Partner Business Development team

·         Coordinating and liaising with partners of the company's global alliance (GPA) for international requirements

·         Collating performance metrics from the CRM and internal drive for key partners on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis

·         Management of lead allocation to Account Managers

·         Ensuring the Account Managers contact the client within the agreed time scales (SLAs) and that leads are qualified and disqualified accordingly

·         Management of pricing of standardised products for the indirect channel

·         Setting up electronic folders for projects

·         Creating quotes using the company's internal quoting system

·         Developing relationships within the sales teams of the key partners

      -         Understanding and managing sales engagement process with partners

Skills required:

 

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Accomplished organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure

·         Attention to detail

·         Experience in office administration preferable but not essential

·         Knowledge of all Microsoft packages, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
